One visit, one list
Most homes do not have one problem, they have nine small ones. Send the whole list when you ask for the estimate and we price it as a single visit instead of nine separate trips. That is almost always cheaper than calling a specialist for each item, and it means one morning of your time instead of five.
What we hand off instead
Some work belongs to a licensed specialist, and we say so before you pay us anything. Panel work, gas lines, sewer lines and anything structural get referred out. We will still coordinate around that trade so your project keeps moving.
- Electrical panel and new circuit work
- Gas line connections
- Main sewer and slab plumbing
- Load-bearing structural changes

Questions
Handyman Services: your questions
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
By the job. You get a fixed price for the list you send us before any work starts, so there is no meter running while we look for a part.
Is there a minimum job size?
A single small repair is usually not worth the trip charge for either of us, so we will tell you honestly if your list is too short and suggest holding it until you have a few more items.
Do you supply the materials?
We can. If you have already bought the fixture or the paint, we will install what you have. If not, the estimate separates labour from materials so you can see both.
While we are there, we also handle
Tell us what the house needs.
Send the list, or send a photo of the problem. You get a written estimate with a fixed price, and nothing starts until you approve it.
